I put in Tray 2 last night before bed. It was SUCH a hassle to get the bottom tray on, but after over an hour of on-and-off pushing attempts, it finally snapped on. The teeth were slightly sore today, but not terribly so. I tried getting the trays off to eat lunch but gave up on that darned bottom tray, so I waited until after going to the grocery store. The second time I tried, it worked! It didn't take too long - definitely longer and more difficult to get out than the end of Tray 1 - but I still managed. My orthodontist gave me a huge box of gloves to help take the trays off, and I think I'll have to use them
at the beginning of each tray to help grasp the trays more easily... but it got to the point at the end of Tray 1 I didn't even need them.
It was easier to put the bottom tray back on after eating - still more difficult than with the end of Tray 1, but took mere minutes to snap it on, compared to last night!
I imagine (and hope) this will get easier with time. As my teeth move, the tray will be easier to get on and off... and maybe the more I experience this, the easier it will get even when I change trays.
One tray down, 36 upper and 18 lower to go!
