The number is supposed to be lucky, right? Well, I wouldn't say that, necessarily, when it comes to Invisalign ;)
Last night I changed trays. As I stated in a forum comment, the bottom was a little more difficult to put on than Tray 6, but not any more difficult than, say, Tray 2 (when I was still a newbie at this whole thing!).
I skipped lunch today just to prolong the amount of time for my teeth to get acquainted with the trays, before eating dinner after I got home. For the first time, it REALLY hurt getting them out, especially the top tray! Usually there's some pain, but it seemed moreso than usual. I was able to eat okay, and putting the trays back on was no problem/no pain. But it seemed strange how much it hurt to get the top tray off. The bottom hurt too, but not as bad. I wonder if it's how the teeth are moving at this stage? I don't know. I just hope it doesn't hurt that much tomorrow when I take them out to eat!
This time, for my photos, I did something a little different (that other people have done). Since this is my last tray before my next appointment, I will be parting with Trays 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, and 7 to give to the orthodontist office for safe-keeping (they already have Tray 3). So no more comparisons with Tray 1 (man, I'd LOVE to go back and see the difference once I get in the double-digits).
Anyway, so before I bid those trays adieu, I decided to get pictures to compare Trays 1 and 7. I took pictures last week of the actual trays, and tonight I took pictures of my bare teeth to compare to pictures from a few days into Tray 1.
Tray 1 is on the top or left, and Tray 7 is on the bottom or right.

I think it's hard to see much difference, but I know I'm only 3 months into this. But I think I can see some progress, even if it's a little. But progress is better than the opposite, right? (Congress... haha, sorry, joke from an old email forward). But seriously, I wonder how much progress I'll make in another three months - half a year of Invisalign. Wow, I just realized I've had these for 1/4th of a year. Crazy how time flies!
