Okay, was trying to come up with a funny title, and that was the best I could come up with after a long (although short) workday.
I had my second follow-up appointment at the orthodontist today. I was scheduled for 2:30, got there 10 minutes early, but was in and out before 2:35!
I was so excited after the appointment that I made a video blog in my car, still in the parking lot :) Please ignore my dry lips though. It's been cold and dry lately, and I forgot to put some chapstick on!

I forgot to mention in the video that Tray 8 was probably the EASIEST tray I have put on to date! That was pretty awesome.
The assistant that was with me mentioned that there was a guy with Invisalign who could take the trays
out with his TONGUE! I couldn't believe that. My trays definitely have less pressure at the end of the two weeks, but aren't so loose as so be able to lift them off with my tongue. If I didn't have attachments, maybe it'd be different.
Anyway, I've only had these in for an hour, and they're tight (as usual at the beginning), but nothing exciting to report about the actual trays.
It's really neat to go to an orthodontist office where the orthodontist AND assistants are thrilled with the progress, and can tell the difference (2 months later). Because you think they see progress like that all
the time, and are used to it. But to have them be pretty much as excited about it as you are... that's cool. The assistant was even showing me the Clincheck, showing me Tray 7 and going back to Tray 1, then to the next 3 trays (up to 10) and back to the beginning, and there is a very noticeable difference! And she loved it as much as I did!
Here are pictures I took of my teeth, wearing Tray 8.

That's all for now. I'm hoping the teeth don't get too sore, but I won't be surprised if they do. But it hasn't been too bad thus far, so it's definitely manageable. Now off to work on my research paper for class! I have a few weeks until it's due, but I do NOT want to procrastinate on my first major paper of grad school! Until next time, friends!
